Learn the basic language and tools of financial management. Financial statements offer a window into the health of a company or organization. The ability to understand the financial health of a company is a vital skill essential for business owners, managers, and leaders across all industries, including non-profits, to make better, strategic decisions. This intense hands-on, high-impact boot camp will quickly get you up to speed on the four legs of the “Financial Table”— Profit & Loss/Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Operating Budget and Cash Flow Management—their purpose, how to both read and understand them, and how they relate to each other. Further, the class will equip you with the key tools that you need to analyze and measure each financial document, such as gross /operating margin, growth rates, variances, quick/current ratios, and more.
